National Yogasana Sports Championship 2025 –
The 6th Senior & Senior ‘A’ National Yogasana Sports Championship is being held from 11th to 14th September 2025 at Agrasen Bhavan, Sector 6, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
🌟 Key Highlights:
- Participants: Over 800 athletes from 32 states showcasing their yogic prowess.
- Age Groups: Competitions are organized in three categories — 18–28, 29–35, and 36–42 years.
- Events: A total of 12 competitive events across male and female divisions.
- Technology Integration: Performances are evaluated using a specialized IIT Madras-developed software, ensuring precision and transparency.
- Judging Panel: 80 expert judges from across 30 states are officiating the championship.
🎤 Inauguration Ceremony:
- Date & Time: 11th September, 11:00 AM
- Chief Guest: Dr. Raman Singh, Speaker of Chhattisgarh Assembly
- Presiding: Vijay Baghel, MP from Durg
- Special Guests: Dr. Jaideep Arya (Yogasana Bharat & World Yogasana), Premprakash Pandey, and other dignitaries.

This championship is part of a broader mission to elevate Yogasana as a global sport, with aspirations for inclusion in the Asian Games (Japan 2026) and potentially the Olympics 2036
